ASP students visited AbuDhabi Science Festival

 

 

 

The ATHS 10th grade ASP students went on a visit to AbuDhabi Science Festival on Saturday 10/24/2012 to AbuDhabi Science Festival accompanied by The Science Department lead teacher Mr.Haroon Al Bargouthi and The Arabic & Islamic Studies teacher Mr.Loay  Janem.

Mr.Loay stated “ We are happy when we see our students participating and enjoying the activities we offer them”. The student reflected a good impression to others about Applied Technology High School.

The students had shown high interest in the event, where they went through all the branches of the festival and asked about everything in details

Students Representative Council elections 2012 \ 2013

Last week, the members of student council had a meeting to assign the Council President, the  Vice President and the treasurer. In the second session the council members meeting was attended by the Principal of Applied Technology High School Mr. Thomas, the Social Counselor Mr. Nader and Miss. Noura Al Sarraj the SSSC of student services, the meeting addressed the distribution of roles on the members of the Student Council and discussed the concerns and issues and deliver the targeted proposals of the students and proposing solutions and work on the application, and also the meeting discussed Eid Al-Adha "Eid clothes" and announce it to the students in the coming days. Last but not least, the meeting addressed several other points on the agenda of the Council.

IIT@IAT Ceremony 2012

Applied Technology High School did set up an honoring ceremony on Wednesday, 26-09-2012 regarding students’ hands-on training in summer within the country and out of the country in places like France, Ireland and Canada. The ceremony was attended by his excellency Dr. Abdullatif Al Shamsi, The General Director of the Institute of Applied Technology, and Mr. Thomas Hearden the director of Applied Technology High School AIN-B, and a number of representatives from governmental agencies, companies and schools that the students practical training took place in during the summer. During the ceremony, some video clips were played about the practical training program in the High School, and a video display for practical training outside the country. At the end, Dr. Abdullatif Al Shamsi honored his sons, the High School’s students, accompanied by director to take souvenir photos.
